 The Dürnsteiner Kellerberg is probably one of the most famous vineyards in the Wachau. It not only shapes the landscape of Dürnstein, but also forms the basis for particularly intense and mineral wines. The sandy, barren soil is characterized by weathered gneiss, the parent rock of this vineyard.
 Wine: This heart- and palate-refreshing Grüner Veltliner captivates with its spicy scent, which is accompanied by delicate citrus nuances. In taste, it combines juicy, sweet honeydew melons with overripe passion fruit, which are given a wonderfully harmonious finish by delicate yeast tones.
 Food recommendation: A perfect accompaniment to home cooking, baked goods, spicy fish dishes, but also to dishes of Far Eastern cooking style.
