The Supperin vineyard is located in front of Dürnstein's city walls and runs south, gently sloping down to the banks of the Danube. This historic vineyard (1493) is named after the Superior, the then abbess of the Poor Claresin monastery in Dürnstein.

The vines grow on fine-textured sandy soil and produce elegant and fruity wines.

Wine: A light representative of its variety. Wonderful citrus aromas on the nose and exotic fruits combined with the typical "pepper" flavor make this Grüner Veltliner an excellent food companion. A light acidity on the palate makes it a delightful drink.

Food recommendation: Vegetable casserole, noodle and rice dishes, roast chicken and fish
