“Küß den Pfennig“ (Kiss the Penny), the centrepiece of the Kellerbergs, is true to its name. Old grapevines grow on steep stone terraces traversing sparse primitive rock cliffs and produce unique wines with notable finesse. Much patience, manual labor and effort must be applied to bring each noble drop to the glass.
 
Wine: Aroma of ripe apple, some mango and fresh kitchen herbs. On the palate dense with a lot of charm and elegance, but still a clear fruit after ripe apple fruit and exotic rounded off by a fine acid structure. Balanced and rich in finesse, long lasting and very harmonious with a lot of potential.
 
Recommended food: Poultry dishes, but also veal saddles, grilled and fried fish dishes and spicy cheeses.
